Diabetes facts and myths - October 26, 2022

According to the Mayo Clinic, type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that impairs the way the body regulates and uses sugar (glucose) as fuel. This long-term chronic condition results in too much sugar (glucose) circulating in the body’s bloodstream. Eventually, the continuous high glucose levels can lead to disorders of the circulatory, cardiovascular, nervous and immune systems.
