February is American Heart Month, a great time to focus on achieving a heart-healthy lifestyle of eating. A heart-healthy diet reduces your unhealthy blood cholesterol levels, manages high blood pressure, and lowers your risk for heart disease. A few heart-healthy diets such as the Mediterranean Diet and the Cardiac Diet follow heart-health practices.
