Dr. Andrew Graves brings exceptional expertise to FHP Health Center as a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with an impressive background of achievement and innovation. After earning his BS in Biology from Cal Poly Pomona and his M.D. from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Dr. Graves completed his radiology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
His impact extends beyond diagnosis—Dr. Graves has spearheaded significant process improvements, including reducing patient wait times and increasing breast cancer screening rates. Additionally, Dr. Graves continues to leverage new technology such as low-dose CT for early lung cancer detection and multiparametric MRI for prostate cancer diagnosis and characterization.
At the U.S. Naval Hospital Guam, he played a pivotal role in developing their new MRI department and leading their breast cancer screening program.
A published researcher in prestigious journals like Applied Radiology and the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Dr. Graves has also contributed to traumatic brain injury studies.
