Bersaba joins FHP Health Clinic
Dr. Mel-Anizi Abante Bersaba recently joined FHP Health Clinic from a local clinic.
Bersaba earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2017. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno.

He has been practicing dentistry in various local and international dental mission trips to Jamaica, Botswana, Palau, Cambodia, Ulithi & Saipan. Bersaba was born in Saudi Arabia and has lived in Oman, New Zealand, and the United States. He moved to Guam in 2023 to be closer to the Philippines, where his family originally comes from.
Bersaba has served as a dental missionary in Kenya and Sierra Leone working with various non-profits and is motivated to continue being involved in future dental international mission trips and outreach events. He has participated in numerous dental activities, including DOCS Health Military Readiness Events on Guam and volunteer work with the World Health Dental Organization at the Maasai Dental Clinic, Kenya.
Bersaba is fluent in both English and Tagalog with dental licenses in Guam and California, enabling him to serve diverse patient populations.

Chaco Joins FHP Health Clinic
Meghan Chaco, FNP-C, recently joined FHP Health Clinic. Chaco brings 18 years of healthcare experience, most recently serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner at San Diego Family Care in Linda Vista, California, where she provided comprehensive primary care to diverse underserved populations.
Chaco's extensive experience includes managing chronic conditions, providing preventive services, and delivering evidence-based care across multiple clinical settings. Her dedication to health equity and culturally competent care has made her a trusted healthcare provider in the field.
She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University in San Diego, specializing in family practice. Additionally, her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in General Biology from University of California, San Diego.
Chaco's clinical training encompasses diverse specialties, including internal medicine at Scripps Clinic Medical Group, cardiology at Kafri Heart & Vascular Clinic, OB/GYN at Contemporary OB/GYN, urgent care settings, and primary care at Kaiser Permanente.
Chaco is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her licenses include Guam Board of Registered Nursing (FNP and RN).
Beyond her clinical work, Chaco demonstrated her commitment to community health through volunteer service as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Street Care Corner in San Diego since June 2024, providing compassionate care to unsheltered individuals facing significant barriers to healthcare access.
