TakeCare, FHP Saipan to help make child’s wish come true

TakeCare Insurance Co. and the FHP Clinic on Saipan has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant 4-year-old Kenji Iguel’s wish of traveling to Orlando to visit Spongebob Squarepants.

“Kenji suffers from a brain neoplasm and epilepsy and will be celebrating his 5th birthday during his wish,” said Victor Camacho, executive director of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam.

TakeCare will be donating $8,300 to fund a portion of the airfare, accommodations, meals and entry to the Universal Studios theme park.

“This is the first wish kid in Saipan that TakeCare has partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation for this year and we will continue to work with them to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions,” said Agnes Perez, TakeCare marketing manager.

TakeCare donates $20,000 to Guam Cancer Care

TakeCare, knowing that all the donations Guam Cancer Care receives stay local, has pledged a donation of $20,000 to the non-profit organization.

This prospective donation from TakeCare will provide a major boost in our organization’s effort to support and sustain our direct cancer support programs, such as Patient Navigation, Financial Assistance, Transportation, and Education.

Cancer Care Assistance Foundation (CCAF), DBA. Guam Cancer Care, is a registered 501(c)(3)Non-profit organization, which was created for the primary purpose of bridging the gaps in services that our local cancer patients face. Our key objective is to provide direct services to cancer patients, with our immediate vision of helping save lives, one person at a time.
