TakeCare has been a committed sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life since 2000. TakeCare staff and management actively join the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer and will remain heavily involved until a cure is found.

Make-A-Wish Foundation
TakeCare has also been involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Kites for Wishes since its inception in 2004. TakeCare is dedicated to its continued assistance of Make-A-Wish Foundation in granting wishes to children between the ages of 21/2 and 18 with life threatening illnesses.

The University of Guam
The University of Guam has been the recipient of over $1.7 million in donations from TakeCare for its School of Nursing program.
The UOG School of Nursing/TakeCare Award encourages and supports students looking to pursue careers in the medical field, a profession in high demand throughout Micronesia. As an added benefit to students, TakeCare recruits for positions in nursing among the graduates of the UOG School of Nursing.

Sports Leagues

Community Awareness
The company encourages community awareness and knowledge of regional health issues. TakeCare supports programs such as the Salvation Army’s “Bridging the Gap” drug awareness conference, and the Guam Medical Society’s annual medical symposium. It also partners with the American Cancer Society-Guam Chapter on community health-related workshops including Breast and Colon Cancer Awareness.
